How to change default browser in Windows 11

    We would be changing the Default Browser for Windows 11 from Microsoft Edge to the                    Chrome browser, these steps can also apply for other browsers Firefox  Brave and Opera

• On the Windows 11 Desktop at the bottom, click on the search icon and search for . select Default Apps.

• On the next window select Apps and on the right hand scroll down and search for Microsoft Edge and click on it to reveal the file type associated with the browser

• The File types on this page we are interested in for now are .htm  .html  .shtml and .svg

• Click on each of the file types .htm  .html  .shtml and .svg  and select switch anyway

• Congratulations you have switched the default browser.
